The Electro Acoustic Guitar has certainly many benefits. Equipped with a pickup system ( usually piezo or magnetic) or a microphone system, the electro acoustic guitar can be as loud as you want. Connected to an amplifier, you can control the sound that comes our of your guitar and even add effects like Reverb for example, which makes the electro acoustic guitar very useful for concerts and gigs. Being generally acoustic guitars with added electronics, the electro acoustic guitars are very different to the semi-hollow electric guitars, which are electric guitars with sound chambers within the body.
