Ranger VI, the re birth of an iconic classic guitar. Comes with cutaway and a EKO SE-30 microphone system.

The first edition of this guitar goes back to 1962 when EKO decided on producing a series of folk guitars based on the popular dreadnought shape, very much in fashion in the U.S. at the time. The first 6 String known as J54, was an immediate success due to style, playability and price.

To respond to the demand of the many aficionados, EKO is now continuing the tradition of the Ranger by introducing this Vintage Reissue version, still preserving all of the main features of the original model. The Ranger 6 Cutaway EQ is an electro acoustic version of this famous model.

With its dreadnought shape, this folk guitar can be found within the collection of many guitarists. The spruce top provides precision and clarity and the linden backs and sides, a good sustain and excellent sound. The neck has a modern C-profile that offers excellent playability. It also features a double-action truss rod, allowing you to adjust the action to suit your needs. The cutaway body gives 

The integrated Eko SE-30 preamp is perfect for connecting your instrument to an electroacoustic guitar amplifier. It features a volume control, 3-band EQ, a phase inverter to cancel possible feedback, and a built-in tuner to make your life easier.

Technically improved, still maintaining the same combination of natural mahogany back and sides with the reinforced spruce top. Visually retro fitted with the stylish newly designed bridge, the revised pick guard that maintains the typical shape as in the past.
