The new Jackson JS3V is a bass players dream and the design puts the player first. The large upper horn on body balances the instrument to prevent "neck dive" meaning that you can play for hours comfortably. The maple neck is reinforced with graphite to provide maximum neck stability  whilst the 12"-16" compound radius ensures lightning fast playability across the 24 fret laurel fingerboard.

The Jackson Spectra Bass JS3V give the musician a huge amount of tonal flexibility meaning that this bass can handle hard rock, funk or pop music with no problem. The dual passive Jackson medium-output humbucking pickups create a huge and well defined low-end response, while a HiMass™ bridge provides enhanced tuning stability, improved sustain and bolder tone. 

You can tweak you tone with a two-way toggle switch for pickup coil splitting, 3-band EQ (active only), blend control and volume control (with push/pull selector to bypass or engage the active circuit for the 3-band EQ). And there is no need to worry about running out of battery for your active circuit thanks to the push/pull selector. A quick pull on the volume knob will bypass the active circuit, meaning that you can play even without the batteries.
