Jackson JS Series Spectra Bass JS3Q | Amber Blue Burst Quilted Maple Top

The body of the JS3Q is poplar with a quilted maple top which you would normally see on instruments of a much higher price. The extended upper horn gives the Spectra a distinct appearance, while ensuring that the body is well balanced and comfortable to play for prolonged periods.

To make the bass comfortable on the hand, Jackson have crafted a 12"-16" compound radius laurel fingerboard with 24 frets to make for lightning-fast playability at all parts of the neck.

The heart of the Spectra JS3Q is the dual Jackson medium-output humbuckers, offering huge amounts of tonal versatility. Tone can be further refined and tweaked with a two-way toggle switch for pickup coil splitting, as well as blend/volume controls with switchable active 3-band EQ. Pull on the volume knob and you can bypass the active circuit meaning that you can play this bass even without the active pickup battery.
