Gretsch Hollow Body Design

When it comes to hollow body single cutaway design, Gretsch is the "gold standard". The G2420T continues the legacy of warms and resonant hollow body whilst also bringing the price down to a level that more of us can afford to buy! Hollow construction guitars aren't just for jazz players, John Frusciante famously used his hollow body Gretsch on the Red Hot Chilli Peppers album Californication. Gretsch hollow body guitars give you a sonic pallet which allows you to craft a truly unique sound.

A 12" neck radius and "U" shape neck design make this guitar an easy guitar to play and it sounds great even when its not plugged in!

Gretsch Hardware and Pickups

The G2420T  comes loaded with the Gretsch Broad’Tron BT-2S humbuckers. The Broad'Trons are not off the shelf pickup but were designed specifically for the Streamline Gretsch Range to compliment the design and tone of the guitars perfectly. Whether you want a warm jazz lead sound or a punchy rock rhythm sound, you can dial it in with the Broad'Tron pickup. And lets not forget... The Bigsby! The icing on the cake is the iconic B60 Bigsby tremolo which allows you to dive bomb or subtly pitch shift your tone effortlessly.
