As we always tell people, it's hard to not have a smile on your face when you are playing a Ukulele. This bright yellow starter ukulele is no exception! The EKO Primo Soprano pack has everything you need to get started with a sweet sounding ukulele, carry case, plectrums, spare strings, pitch pipe and an easy to read chord chart.
The EKO Primo ukulele is small and lightweight, while being durable enough that you can take it anywhere. With only 4 strings vs 6 on a guitar, the ukulele is also a lot quicker to learn and simpler to play.
Don't let its small size fool you, the ukulele is a serious instrument. Originally from Hawaii, the "uke" gained popularity throughout the United States during the early 20th century, then eventually internationally. George Harrison of the Beatles was famous for having a number of ukuleles in his car which he would give to friends everywhere he went.
The Primo Series ukuleles are built in Agathis with Mahogany neck, coloured polyurethane finishes, Parinari Campestris bridge and Fretboard and in-line open tuning machines.
