The PolyBrute 12 may be the most expressive analog polysynth ever built: twelve voices of pure analog sound under a keyboard that senses your fingers like no other.

At its heart is Arturia's FullTouch keyboard — 61 keys that respond to the lightest surface contact through full depth, delivering polyphonic aftertouch and continuous per-note control (MPE) from an analog instrument. Each of the 12 voices runs two Brute-derived VCOs through dual filters — a snarling Steiner-Parker and a creamy ladder filter — shaped by three envelopes, three LFOs and a 64-slot modulation matrix. The magic is morphing: every patch is really two sounds, A and B, and the Morphée touch controller, ribbon and mod wheel let you glide seamlessly between them in three dimensions. Add a polyphonic sequencer, arpeggiator, motion recording, stereo digital effects and a gorgeous walnut-and-aluminium chassis, and you have a genuine flagship — an instrument that rewards years of exploration.
