The Offshore ED-800 is a complete 5-pad electronic drum kit designed for drummers who want a realistic playing experience for home practice, lessons and recording. With 10" mesh pads, a dedicated hi-hat stand, dual-zone cymbals and a versatile sound module, it offers the feel and layout of an acoustic kit in a compact, quiet and practical format.

Realistic Kit Layout

The ED-800 is built around a 10" mesh snare pad and three 10" mesh tom pads. Mesh heads provide a natural rebound and a more authentic stick feel than rubber pads, while keeping playing noise to a minimum, which is ideal for practising at home without disturbing others.

The 9" silicone kick pad is compatible with a double pedal, so drummers can develop their double-bass technique (single pedal included). Two 12" dual-zone cymbals with a nylon body and rubber surface offer expressive playing on different areas of the cymbal.

A particular highlight is the 12" hi-hat cymbal mounted on its own dedicated stand, with the pedal included and an opening sensor. This setup reproduces the feel and movement of an acoustic hi-hat much more closely than a standalone controller, helping drummers develop proper foot technique and dynamic hi-hat control.

Everything is mounted on a sturdy tubular rack that provides stable support and easy adjustment of each component.

Versatile Sound Module

The sound module offers 475 drum and percussion sounds, as well as 128 General MIDI sounds. It includes 25 factory kits covering a wide range of styles, plus 25 user kits that can be fully customised to create your own personal sound.

50 demo songs provide an enjoyable way to explore the kit’s sounds and to practise along with musical accompaniment. The recording and playback functions let you capture your performances and listen back, making it easier to track your progress and refine your playing.

Connectivity and Control

The wireless audio connection lets you stream music to the module and play along with your favourite songs, while the auxiliary input allows you to connect an external player. The headphone output enables silent practice at any time of day. The USB MIDI interface connects the ED-800 to a computer and music software, so you can use it to trigger virtual instruments, record MIDI performances or work with learning apps.
