It is equipped with 2 humbucker pickups, 2 x volume controls and 2 x tone controls which allow you to craft a wide range of sounds depending on your music and playing style.

 The Mahogany body of the PRS SE Tremonti Standard produces a warm sound with a lot of harmonic richness in the mid-range. The guitar has a more upscale appearance and feel thanks to a bevelled top, which also increases comfort for first-rate playability. The material adds a lot of top-end snap to give notes more immediacy, but the distinctive neck carve makes the instrument feel incredibly contemporary and playable. The acclaimed Tremonti Treble/Bass humbuckers that have been used in PRS' US-made Mark Tremonti signature models for several years served as the inspiration for the pickups in this guitar. These pickups, especially the bridge humbucker, were especially created to produce crushing high-gain tones, while the neck pickup produces a smoother sound that's ideal for singing leads and clean arpeggios. These still sound like classic PRS records, but they have a tiny bit more bite so you can cut right through a mix.
