Fireman Distortion. FIREMAN is based on the legendary amplifier builder's famous distortion pedal. It's a very amp-like distortion pedal with Modern Brown Sound. We designed it with 2 independent VOLUME, GAIN control knobs to fit rhythm and solo applications. FIREMAN offers a True-bypass / Buffer-bypass toggle switch, and a 9V / 18V toggle switch. The 18V position doubles the working voltage inside to give you wider dynamic range. 

In order to provide you with professional-quality tone while maintaining the integrity of the original signal, Ashdown bass effects were particularly created.

The Pro-Drive allows you control over the amount of amplification and the tone of your drive for those who prefer a pick to fingers or who dig in like the greats. The Tone control, which gives you control over the instrument's dynamic range, functions as predicted, letting you choose between a dull, rumbling thunder and a screaming banshee. The output of the pedal may be balanced against the sound of your clean instrument when combined with the output control to create the ideal step drive tone.
