"Grace" remained the first and only studio album by California-born singer/songwriter Jeff Buckley, who died in a swimming accident in 1997 at the age of just 31. And the music world is just as excited about the British pop, soul, jazz and R'n'B singer and songwriter's new album: "30" is the name of the record, Adele's fourth studio album, which, like its three predecessors "19" (2008), "21" (2011) and "25" (2015), she named after the age at which she started working on it.  On "30", Adele deals with her divorce from her ex-husband while also singing about being a mother and the darker side of fame. "I've learned a lot of bitter truths about myself along the way," the 33-year-old wrote in a social media post. During this time, music was like a "friend who always checked in with me, even when I stopped checking in with him because I was so consumed by my own grief. Since then, I've painstakingly rebuilt my home and my heart, and this album is about that."

"The Chronic" was, in fact, the entry point to Dr. Dre's solo career after his break with the group N.W.A. and addresses the beef with Eazy-E, the gangsta lifestyle in LA, Death Row's mafia-film-like rise, as well as racial conflicts and political unrest. It also served as a springboard for Snoop Dogg's career.

Beneath his mysterious metal mask, MF Doom hides the cachet from which underground legends are made. Which brings us to The War On Drugs founding member Kurt Vile and his new, meanwhile sixth long player "B'lieve Me I'm Going Down...".  It is no secret that not only the Sonic-Youth-icon is enthusiastic about the guitarist and singer/songwriter from Philadelphia. At the latest since his last album "Wakin On A Pretty Daze", which was celebrated by audience, critics and colleagues alike, the curly head has arrived in the modern alternative rock Olympus. Of course, the stoic stoner is one of the greats now. And the "B'lieve Me I'm Going Down..." recorded and mixed in Los Angeles and Joshua Tree also bears witness to this.    It leads on an acoustic journey from the east to the west coast and through the history of the country from Woody Guthrie to Dinosaur Jr. "B'lieve Me I'm Going Down..." has become a very mature and authentic rock album, which in our fast-paced digital age, where everything seems possible, is focused, clear and sincere, providing a pleasant breath of fresh air.

Only a few months after recording the album "Low", David Bowie is back in the Hansa recording studios in Berlin in July and August 1977 to record "Heroes", the second part of his creative period later called "Berlin Trilogy". The Beatles: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band | 180g | LP | Vinyl

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, the band's eighth album, was released on June 1, 1967 and became the soundtrack of the "Summer of Love," but its appeal is timeless.  Work on the recording had begun in late 1966, and at one point it was thought that both Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields Forever would be included, but when they were released as singles in February, that idea was abandoned.  Revolver had been finished just in time before the band left for another tour. Now that the tour was behind them, more time could be spent writing and recording. Between November 1966 and April 1967, they spent over 400 hours in the studio - a big difference from the Please Please Me days.

Death | Metal: Individual Thought Patterns | LP | Vinyl

Death, the heavy metal institution founded, produced and led by legendary guitarist Chuck Schuldiner, released the album Individual Thought Patterns in 1993 (the follow-up to their milestone Human). Expectations were high following the release of Human, but Schuldiner once again proved he could rise to the occasion. Individual Thought Patterns further refined the forward-thinking and progressive direction born with Human and included "The Philosopher", arguably the best song to ever come from the world of extreme metal and the most widely known to date.

Together with the Sex Pistols, The Clash were the first punk rockers in England. Unlike the Sex Pistols, they mixed their sound with reggae and disco sounds. The bandleader duo Joe Strummer and Mick Jones composed most of the formation's hits. The third album “London Calling” was released as a double LP in 1979 and impressed with its broad musical spectrum, ranging from pop to reggae to punk. The title song is particularly impressive, being one of the key tracks of an entire musical era.
