The polemic punkers Idles from Bristol have been a promising group for some time. With their debut album "Brutalism" they now fulfil all expectations. Previously only available on CD and digitally, the 2LP reissue released by Geffen / UMe now comes on 180g heavyweight vinyl (black).  The tracklist of the edition is extended by the single "Shadow Of Your Love", with which Guns N' Roses two years ago, among other things, a place in the top 5 of the US mainstream rock airplay charts could secure. The band had already recorded the single at the end of 1986, but "Shadow Of Your Love" had remained unreleased until the box set release of "Appetite For Destruction."

Idles: Ultra Mono | LP | Vinyl Record

After Idles released their first concert album "A Beautiful Thing: Idles Live At Le Bataclan" only last year, the band from Bristol presents a new studio album in 2020.  "Ultra Mono" is the name of longplayer number three.  Idles recorded the twelve-song record in Paris with producer Nick Launay (Nick Cave, Arcade Fire) and engineer Adam "Atom" Greenspan (Rage Against the Machine, Arcade Fire).
