The Wharfedale Pro team created the Delta X models, which are painted in Rhino Rock and constructed from 15mm plywood. They have a revolutionary crossover design that was intended for dependability and long-term performance. The Delta X supports multiple amplifiers and external crossovers by operating in both full range and bi-amp modes. Cast frame woofers with high output and little physical distortion are employed, together with specially designed Wharfedale Pro transducers, to achieve remarkable low frequency response. Nine models make up the Delta X series, one of which is the 1600 w RMS Dual Chamber 2 x 18" Delta X218 subwoofer.
