12 String Ranger VR XII by Eko | Dreadnought | Fishman Sonitone Preamp With Volume and Tone Control | Honey Burst

The story of this guitar began in 1962, when EKO introduced a series of folk guitars inspired by the popular dreadnought design that was dominating the American market at the time. Among them, the original J56 12-string model quickly gained popularity, becoming the best-selling 12-string guitar on the market.

Continuing this legacy and responding to the enthusiasm of its many fans, EKO brings back the iconic Ranger with this Vintage Reissue edition. The new model retains the distinctive features of the original, including its bolt-on neck, adjustable aluminum bridge saddle, zero fret, and square dot inlays.

While remaining faithful to its heritage, the guitar benefits from technical refinements and preserves the classic combination of natural Sapele back and sides with a reinforced spruce top. Its retro-inspired appearance is completed by a newly designed bridge and an updated pickguard that retains the unmistakable shape of the original. The result is a faithful tribute to a legendary model, blending vintage character with modern improvements.
