Charvel Pro-Mod DK24 HSS Electric Guitar in Shell Pink 

The Dinky is a style that is frequently connected to Jackson Guitars, but Charvel has taken inspiration from its sister company to produce a range of Pro Mod DK24 models that are reminiscent of the 1980s. These hot-rodded instruments include a plethora of high-end features that guarantee ideal playability and tone, of course! 

This guitar has a Custom Gotoh 510 tremolo system, a graphite-reinforced neck, and a compound radius fingerboard for maximum playing comfort. It also has a variable HSS pickup arrangement and is outfitted with a set of extremely hot Seymour Duncan pickups. The quality of this guitar's hardware and workmanship much exceeds what its pricing would imply.

The Construction

Alder is a traditional tonewood used in Strat-style guitar production, a heritage that Charvel has mainly upheld. Alder's tonal characteristics are extremely well-balanced, ensuring a robust mid-range that lends itself particularly well to high-gain and produces a concentrated tone that can easily punch through in hectic mixes. 

This lively top-end definition will be helped by the Maple neck's pairing with this bright-sounding wood. A bolt-on construction offers a snappy response with lots of projection and clarity. This wood treatment, which has a caramelized finish, ensures better tuning stability and enhanced rigidity since the moisture from the wood is removed, making it less prone to warping in various conditions.

This neck will be incredibly sturdy and dependable with to the addition of graphite reinforcement, ensuring that you won't need to fiddle with your setup very frequently at all. 

This instrument's superb, high-end feature is its compound radius fingerboard. The fretboard is rounded at the lower end of the neck to make chords simpler to play and flattens out in the higher register to facilitate shredding. This makes for a very ergonomic design and aids in preventing notes from fretting out when performing string bends. Along with beautiful Pearloid dot inlays, the caramelized fingerboard has "Luminlay" side dots that shine in the dark when the lights are off on stage.

Electronics

High-output Seymour Duncan pickups with a single humbucker and two flashy single-coils power this gorgeous instrument. Due to its tight, focused sound, the Full Shred SH-10B in the bridge position will produce scorching highs that will allow solos and riffs to cut through in heavy band settings. 

With the 5-way blade switch in positions 2 and 4, you may access glistening Strat-style tones and those angelic out-of-phase sounds from the Custom Flat SSL-6 single-coils in the middle and neck positions. The former pairs with the inner coil of the bridge humbucker.

The single volume control, which has a low friction construction to enable a smooth movement for ambient volume swells, allows you to regulate the guitar's overall output. The tone control has a "No-Load" design that, when set to 10, bypasses the entire tone circuit, providing your amplifier with a brighter and more present signal.
