Three unique high gain amp models—the Duo Rect, Fireman, and VH 4 are available for the high gain preamp pedal NUX Metal Core Deluxe MKII. The 3-way toggle switch allows you to choose between these models:

• Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier serves as the foundation for the Duo Rect. The unique metal front panel and the well-known American metal sound from the 1990s will bring back memories of countless legendary albums, including those by Metallica, Tool, Korn, Soundgarden, Foo Fighters, and Blink 182.
• Based on the Friedman BE-100, the Fireman pays homage to the guy who created the unique tones of rock legends like Eddie Van Halen, Steve Stevens, and Jerry Cantrell. The "BE" circuit has been praised as the pinnacle of British tone for more than ten years.
• The Diezel Amp of the same name, whose 4-Channel and individual insert design revolutionised the industry, is the basis for the VH4. This amplifier has a large tonal range. Many players like the thick, articulate, and "meaty" tone it produces. Additionally, the VH4 is utilised in numerous recording studios worldwide due to its adaptability.

Impulse responses are crucial for going all in since they provide you with the cabinet sound you need to finish your tone quest. The Metal Core Deluxe MKII comes with matching IRs to complement each of the amps that are included. 

Using the MetalCore editing programme, you can import your personal preferred third-party IRs. To download the editor (Metal Core Deluxe MKII supports 512 samples IR resolution), please visit the product page. Please ensure that your IR file is in WAV format, as the MetalCore editing software will convert the IR file automatically.

Updates to the firmware and connecting to the MetalCore editing programme are done via the USB-C port (see below). In order to update the pedal, plug in a USB cord to your computer, then hold down the footswitch to initiate the DFU (Device Firmware Update) mode and start up the device. Once connected, the DFU updater programme allows you to update the firmware.
