About the album

Their year was 1995! When her landmark album Jagged Little Pill was released, twenty-one-year-old Alanis Morissette celebrated her first international hit. Since then, the Canadian singer-songwriter and musician has become one of the most important figures in current pop music, with the album having sold over 33 million copies to date.

Maverick first song "Jagged Little Pill" from 1995 is now again available on vinyl. It features the singles "You Oughta Know," "Hand In My Pocket," "Ironic," and "You Learn." Alanis embarked on an 18-month world tour in 1995 and 1996, beginning and ending in intimate bars and large arenas. Jagged Little Pill won four Grammys: "Best Video (Long Form)" for the home video Jagged Little Pill, LIVE!, "Album of the Year," "Best Female Rock Performance" (You Oughta Know), and "Best Rock Song" (dto). 

Billboard named it "Album of the Decade" after more than 30 million copies were sold, 14 million of which were in the United States. It debuted at No. 3 in Germany and remained there for 84 weeks, which was amazing for a previously unheard newcomer.
