Led Zeppelin: Led Zeppelin IV (remastered) (180g) (Limited Edition) (Clear Vinyl) LP | Vinyl

The pace of bands and labels quickened much more throughout the 1960s and 1970s. In their early years, Led Zeppelin released one record after another. In today's terms, three longplayers in 15 months is astounding. Led Zeppelin wrote all the songs for their first six albums between 1968 and the summer of 1972 because they were also a frequent live performer.
When the LPs "I" and "II" were published, they did incredibly well both monetarily and in the charts. On the other hand, "III" did not start out well with fans or the media. The record swiftly rose to the top of the US and UK charts, but after a brief peak, sales fell off significantly. For whatever reason, Led Zeppelin was miffed that their albums didn't all sound and look the same. Jimmy Page became enraged by this and refrained from speaking to the media for two years. And as a result, the fourth album was issued without a title or any lyrics to go along with it.
As a result, "IV" has multiple titles, including "Zoso," "Four Symbols," and just "Untitled." From a modern perspective, many fans of Led Zeppelin believe that the band's fourth album is their greatest. This is supported by the absolute sales numbers, which place the album third among the all-time best-selling albums in the United States. "IV" is the ideal balance of light and dark, firm and soft. The song "Stairway To Heaven" is Led Zeppelin's most well-known composition ever, while "Black Dog" captures the spirit of what made each member of the band unique.
In interviews, Jimmy Page doesn't have a good word to say about the first digital versions of Led Zeppelin's albums that hit the market in the mid-1980s. In his opinion, the sound is too undifferentiated, because the CDs were produced from poorly mixed versions of the songs. This does not correspond to the quality demands of a world-class band. And since today the possibilities of digital remastering are highly developed for all formats, it was absolutely worth the wait. At least that's what Jimmy Page thinks and implores all fans not to listen to the reissues as MP3 under any circumstances..
The digitally processed remixed version of "IV" was created under Page's own patronage. Reissues are based on 1970/71. on original analog studio tapes from . During the remastering, Page's guiding principle was that albums used to be recorded on vinyl, and today there are different recording formats, each with its own rationale for what the remastering should do.
