MicroFreak Stellar is a hybrid desktop synth that has been retrofitted for out-of-this-world sound exploration. It features a slick all-black exterior with detailed space-age graphics reflecting its controls. The synth also offers a free firmware update for all users, introducing user sample import, a Sampler engine, and 3 Granular engines. The interface is filled with unique space-age graphics inspired by its controls, such as the ADSR rocket launch and filter resonance UFO. The V5 firmware update introduces 21 different oscillator modes, allowing users to go bigger, deeper, and weirder with their sound. The synth also includes algorithms from Mutable Instruments and Noise Engineering in a desktop keyboard. The synth also includes a Vocoder, Noise, Superwave, Harmono, Karplus Str., Wavetable, BasicWaves, V.Analog, Waveshaper, Two Op. FM, Formant, Chords, Speech, Modal, SawX, Harm, Bass, Sample, Hit Grains, Scans Grains, and Cloud Grains.

MicroFreak Stellar is a unique space-age instrument with a one-knob Modulation Matrix and multi-functional touch strips. It features sparkling digital and wavetable oscillators, a velvety analog filter, a poly-aftertouch PCB keyboard, and a freaky arpeggiator & sequencer. The erratic mod matrix and Spice & Dice randomizers add to the sonic hysterics of the MicroFreak. This unpredictable instrument is perfect for adventurous musicians and thrill-seekers, daring them to stray from the path and think differently.
