The THV30DCE abound with refined details and sonic optimizing features: every piece of wood is carefully selected for its tonal characteristics and aesthetic properties. The top is carved out of a specially selected bearclaw Spruce, which takes the sonic print of Engelmann spruce and expands it thanks to its higher stiffness. Together with the breathtaking deep hued Bocote body, the THV30DCE turns out to be a guitar that is incredibly responsive, with full and rich midrange and impressive sustain. Ranger VI, the re birth of an iconic classic guitar. Comes with cutaway and a EKO SE-30 microphone system.

The first edition of this guitar goes back to 1962 when EKO decided on producing a series of folk guitars based on the popular dreadnought shape, very much in fashion in the U.S. at the time. The first 6 String known as J54, was an immediate success due to style, playability and price.

To respond to the demand of the many aficionados, EKO is now continuing the tradition of the Ranger by introducing this Vintage Reissue version, still preserving all of the main features of the original model like the Bolt-On neck and the adjustable aluminum bridge saddle, the zero-fret and the square dots. Technically improved, still maintaining the same combination of natural mahogany back and sides with the reinforced spruce top. Visually retro fitted with the stylish newly designed bridge, the revised pick guard that maintains the typical shape as in the past.
